No he didn't. But many companies went under under Biden because his fuel prices were higher for a longer period of time, closer to the 2020 Pandemic bump of the number of trucks on the road. So trucking companies that were really bad crashed under Biden, others that managed to survive him and dying under Trump.
2020 caused a massive jump in the number of trucks on the road due to the huge jump in freight rates. Once rates came down under Biden, and fuel went up, lots of those trucks went under because we didn't have the capacity to keep them. Now things are more steady, but fuel prices are simply causing trucking companies (and airlines) to go under because there is no profit margin to eat a DOUBLE of fuel price in one month.
Trucking is the lifeline to supplying merchants and Trump needs to take fast action to keep them running for a profit so let's cheer him on since he has experts who understand the problem.
