I'm Gene. I decided to register after seeing the activity and beautiful skin. I'm not very knowledgeable about the history of this forum, but it looks more inviting than most political forums, which says a lot.

I'm a Texas socialist (Taoist), which means contradiction in some circles. I was born in New Jersey, but lived most of my life in the South, which means I've been listening to completely different spectrums of thought and adopting them to my own identity. More particularly, I'm a left-libertarian. Economically, I flirt with mutualism (socialist free market - another apparent contradiction), geoism, and participatory (democratic) socialism.

I hope I get to know you! (Maybe I'll relinquish that desire later )

He wasn't a problem when he was Governor. Matter of fact, he was better than several including this neocon liberal with a GOP sticker on his coat we have now.

So, he couldn't make a winner of the Texas Rangers. Nobody can. God KNOWS they were the Washington Senators and has cursed them.
