Toyota and Yamaha are developing engines that run on hydrogen, and develop a lot more power than those crappy EV's will; when they start producing those nobody will be buying EV's any more, they will be drag racing in 450 horse V8's again. And, they can use current manufacturing tooling to build hydrogen engines, so no need for massive amounts of new capital equipment and industrial machinery, new patent licenses and royalties, etc.
