I can't.Show me where the OP said anything about Social Security.
Especially about Social Security exclusively.
I was just chiming in.
I'm not sure why it's different though...it's funded through taxes as well.

They Payback...what? Are you illiterate? They payback is capped dummy.
Well, he didn't say SS but you're 100% right, its part of the tax burden insofar as you cannot opt out.You didn't say Social Security exclusively, you talked about tax burden.
It was said in the OP: "In my view, each and every citizens "tax burden" should initially be the same dollar amount. Thereafter, there should be taxes based on usage. For example, if you have a trucking company with 200 trucks running up and down the road every day."
Social Security is part of the tax burden along with:
WW
- Federal Income Tax Rate
- State Income Tax rates
- Property Tax (Land)
- Property Tax (Non-land)
- Sales Tax
- Embedded Taxes (local, state, federal)
Well, he didn't say SS but you're 100% right, its part of the tax burden insofar as you cannot opt out.
Really? I was unaware one could refuse to pay SS taxes. You can opt out.
I can think of at least two different ways.
WW
Sure, and SS benefits need to climb to match the taxes paid by the wealthy. What you want is for the wealthy to just pay more and not get any more benefits. When you make less than 150,000 a year (give or take), every paycheck you get has SS taxes taken out of them. When you make more than 150,000 a year (give or take) your paycheck no longer has SS taxes taken out of them.
If your "reasoning" is that "we all pay the same" you'd be for taxing the rich for every dollar they make just like we do to the poor, right?
Change my mind.
I'd be thrilled with them getting more benefits.Sure, and SS benefits need to climb to match the taxes paid by the wealthy. What you want is for the wealthy to just pay more and not get any more benefits.

There you go again...lying your ass off.
Wow, a unicorn that at least claims he doesn't mind the wealthy getting a benefit. Imagine that.I'd be thrilled with them getting more benefits.

Amazing.Pastors can choose.
Not at all.If you payout $1million per month it defeats the purpose paying more in dummy?
Everyone should be treated the same under the tax code. That is the point. The maximum Social Security retirement benefit in 2025 is $5,108 per month for individuals who delay claiming benefits until age 70.
This maximum is available only to those who have earned the maximum taxable amount—$176,100 in 2025—for at least 35 years of their career.

If they pay in more they either get a bigger payout or it is simply an additional TAX applied.
Change the "contract". Alert Congress.
