Tariffs do not have any good solutions but there are some bad ones

One of the most successful ones? are you kidding me?

Bloomberg, Gates, Zuckerberg, and Musk are successful businessmen...............Not Trump.

He started with more money in his pocket than any of the above and he has accomplished huge amounts less than anyone of them. Bloomberg is the least of these 4 and he has 50 times more net worth than Trump.

If Trump has blindly put the money his father gave him into the SPX index and done NOTHING with it, he would have made 5 times more than he made with all of his investments.

You call that being a successful businessman?
Using a meme to make a point? :auiqs.jpg:

Yes, after I invested the time to listen to the whole video I agree with some of the points

The person is correct that the tariffs are confusing and introduce uncertainty into the market

I hope trump knows what he’s doing, but its not entirely clear to me, especially when I have to argue with the knee jerk trump haters

Give a check mark to the trump haters on that

And they will raise prices to US consumers which is only half bad if they cause America to produce more in America

Pharmaceuticals would be a good place to start there

What trump should have done in my opinion with my limited knowledge is go after china and only china

The trade deficits we have with our friends and neighbors can and should be dealt with at a later date

Our goal should be to hurt china, not Australia or Canada
One thing that has to be mentioned again and again, it is the consumers that are the key. If they don't buy the American products because they are more expensive, this will all be in vain. That is something that no one has ANY CONTROL over.

Luckyone
Trump isn’t the first US president to wage tariff wars. In fact, he is following in steps of a series of predecessors who tried to use tariffs as a bludgeon to get other countries to follow Washington’s interests.

Once again, I am NOT against tariffs. I am against tariffs when they are not INTELLIGENTLY done. Trump has very little intelligence other than for scamming people, and a scam won't work here.

I wish it could be 1955 again with most consumer products made in America, but that time has past

But at the very least lets outsource the cheapest trade goods to countries that are not our sworn enemies, such as communist china

BS, he's trying to manipulate other countries to comply
to his end game.
You kind of are tipping your hand as to who really has "very little intelligence". :eusa_whistle:

How many Divisions does Gates have?

So you are an expert on what a smart tariff is and what is not??? this isn't just Trump... he is surrounded by financial experts who know way more than you.... and way more than the people on MSNBC...
Our companies are behind this effort.... they know they have been getting screwed the last four years especially....

China's Ruling Party is communist and that's about where it ends.

China is a Technocracy. State-Directed Capitalism. Same thing as Hitler's Germany. Except Hitler became a megalomaniac with a bit of anger and some serious hint of sociopathy.

Technocracies work. They work well. Look what is happening in China. But it doesn't have the checks and balances needed because China is a one-party State. Just like dimocrap scum want.

Patriots recognize the need for at least two parties. Just not ones that (like the current DNC) HATE America and The American People.

Why can't we have more than one Party that loves America? I don't get it. Other Countries do.

Trump graduated from Wharton. Consistently rated the best Finance College in America, probably in the world.

I think we need to expand domestic food production also. Along with quality control production and hopefully better ingredients or removing ingredients in the product could come from it.

As I live in a very small rural town, I drive 25 miles to buy food that I can trust. It would be great if more of the food at the little grocery store in my town was edible.

Since china is a dictatorship the people have no power thats more than bad enough
I know.... Right?

I hear they persecute opposition political leaders with made-up charges, arrest and jail people for speaking their minds, put old ladies in prison for praying, put parents on Government Watch-Lists for not agreeing with the what the Edumucashun system wants.........

I'm sure glad I'm in the "Land of The Free"

Aren't you?
