I'm guessing around $500 million, and settling for $5 million per family.

They deserve it. They should sue the FedGov because the FedGov prevented them from protecting themselves.

Anyone who deliberately prevents individuals from protecting themselves should be 100% responsible for their protection under strict liability.

Any business banning guns should be 100% responsible for protecting those who comply.

Don't want liability? Don't make gun-free zones.

True. The laws of "care and custody" apply to the school districts. The children are under the protection of the school system while in school. The duty to protect passes to the individual teachers once the kids are seated in their classroom. Sadly, most teachers recoil in horror at the thought of actually protecting the kids using deadly force. It seems that they would rather die along with the kids than protect them and themselves.

Yep.

Everybody is responsible for their own security and the security of those in their charge.

If the federal government prevents that (there's a suggestion that it does) FedGov is 100% liable.

Happening all over blind man. Your hate indoctrination camps are the cause

Texas invented mass shootings with the Texas Tower

They just passed gun legislation to ensure they are the number one state for slaughter

They'll likely go after the gun manufacturer instead of going after the state, city, or district that prohibited individuals from protecting themselves and the children.
