Trump's Supporters In Rural Areas Are In For A Nasty Surprise

Well then, Trump has two years but his cult will never hold him responsible, they never do.

www.morningstar.com · news · marketwatchElon Musk predicts 'hardship,' economic turmoil and a stock ...

Oct 31, 2024 · With just a week until the presidential election, Donald Trump's close ally and major economic adviser Elon Musk is warning supporters to expect economic chaos, a crashing stock

He doesn't even have two years.... He has six to eight months at most to make it stick If he doesn't get right on it it's going to cost him in the midterms.

No I don't expect food prices to come down overnight and decide from the basic components like energy and transportation is also the stubbornness of high price sticking.

Once a price goes up and an entire supply chain gets built behind it It's extremely difficult to shake that habit because everyone gets used to the new level of income. If he starts immediately on day one lowering the energy ccosts, lowering the transportation costs, easing up on some of the ridiculous regulations..... We could see some real movement in six to eight months but it will take that long and it's something he had better pay attention to pretty quickly.

What supply chain problems?
The ones Trump dreamed up?

"But I think that they will. I think that energy is going to bring them down. I think a better supply chain is going to bring them down. You know, the supply chain is still broken. It's broken," Trump said.

NOT what Trump said.

abcnews.go.com · Politics · trump-now-bringingTrump now says bringing down grocery prices, as he promised ...

1 day ago · President-elect Donald Trump campaigned relentlessly on grocery prices in the 2024 race, vowing to bring down costs quickly for American families if given four more years in the white house.

"I won on the border, and I won on groceries," he told NBC's Kristen Welker. "Very simple word, groceries. Like almost -- you know, who uses the word? I started using the word -- the groceries. When you buy apples, when you buy bacon, when you buy eggs, they would double and triple the price over a short period of time, and I won an election based on that. We're going to bring those prices way down."

The really hard thing is WE the average American, Will pay the cost of NOT having a government that try's to work together.

The D Party turned its back on workers some time ago, as did the R Party long ago. When will they realize it?

It’s not a two party system. It’s a one party system.
You and Harry Dresden said this ^^^^^^^^^^
You must think a party could do more for “workers”…..what do you suggest?
What’s your solution?

Lol.

I was driving through coal mining country the other day. I went past this run down house with a barn falling down. They had Trump flags all over it. I initially thought "typical".

Then I thought about it. These are the people who were strongly Democrat for decades.

Then one day Hillary came into the area and told the people she was going to get rid of their jobs, but no worries, there would be government welfare programs for them.

No, Trump isn't going to do anything for them but he also isn't threatening their way of life.

If Homan can deport millions of illegals that's a lot of food "demand" dropped, that should lower prices from "supply & demand".
Stupid democrats let 12,000,000 illegals into the US gives them free food, and then says "price gouging" is the reason for high prices.

Boy, not even in office and already walking that promise back. But he did stay out of jail! Thank you maga cult!
Still better than the Biden/Harris morons. He'd win by more if the election was tomorrow.

Trump's Supporters In Rural Areas Are In For A Nasty Surprise

Buyer’s remorse is rampant since Trump and the GOP barely won the election. Muslim Americans in Michigan who supported Trump are now begging Biden to save Gaza from escalation from Bibi. Wall Street executives are alarmed by Trump’s tariffs. Hispanics in south Florida are freaking out about the mass deportation scheme. Weren’t they paying attention before the election?

Now it’s the farmers who are sounding the alarm about Trump’s plans to carry out his promises to jack up tariffs and deport 10 to 15 million immigrants. Apparently, they thought Trump was bloviating and didn’t really mean to carry out his promises. That’s a common talking point on the right these days. I thought Trump meant what he said.

Rural America has been the foundation of MAGA Republican support. In 2024, Trump won rural voters by an overwhelming margin of 64% to 32% over Harris. Moreover, Trump won over 77% of the popular vote, on average, in the nation’s most farming dependent counties.

Trump’s loyal supporters in the nation’s farm belt are (justifiably) worried that Trump is going to badly damage their $1.5 trillion industry. His extreme deportation plan is causing widespread panic among farmers at risk of losing workers and business. Agricultural output will decline between $30 and $60 billion if Trump’s signature deportation policy is carried out.

The soybean and grain dependent Midwest is especially at risk, since this part of the country needs the federal government’s program that allows certain companies to bring foreign workers into the U.S. to fill temporary agriculture jobs. The forced removal of immigrant farm workers will badly hurt Nebraska.

A study released last month by the National Corn Growers Association found another failed Trump trade war with China could cost U.S. soybean and corn farmers as much as $7.3 billion in annual production value.

These people voted for Trump because they were scared of trans women using girls bathrooms or the 1 or 2 trans girls nationwide that might actually want to play sports. Now look at what they are facing.
Serves em right. Thoughts and Prayers.
