Supreme Court Rules Homosexuals Can Sue Employer

Heller isn't legislating from the bench, it stopped DC from enforcing an unconstitutional law.

Only if you believe the bizarre reasoning that the Militia Amendment is about private gun ownership, something the courts hadn't found in 200+ years.

The court in this current case made shit up like in Plessey, Roe, and Obergfell.

Actually, Roe and Obergefell were spot on rulings. The state being able to regulate our bodies is just...crazy.

The people have the right to keep and bear arms. It's really that simple.

Roe and Obergfell were both jiggery pokery, just as bad as Plessey.

For the wisdom of the second amendment and the reason for it's existence, one only needs to look at the riots and looting, and how every citizen was left to fend for himself and his / her family from the barbarian hoards.

It was actually enacted to be able to overcome an authoritarian government. We can see plenty of examples of that also.

Yeah except when the shit hits the fan and the cops stop being cops, you're basically on your own as far as protecting your home, business, family, and belongings. Let me know how it feels when the animals come after you and your family, at that point they could care less about your race, color, ethnicity, or political ideology. Do you really think that all these thugs committing Black on Black crimes in Black neighborhoods care about any of the Leftist propaganda and shit you spew?

Um, buddy, I'm 58 years old. I've had to call the cops about six times. Never once did they arrive "in time" to prevent a tragedy. (Fortunately most of the incidents weren't that serious, and none of them threatened my safety). I've lived in smaller towns, but as you guys like to say when talking about why you needs your guns, when seconds count, the cops will be there in minutes.

So, no, I don't worry about the cops not being cops. I worry about them doing things that create the problems.
Boy, are you thick or what? It's one thing to call the cops during regular times, it's another thing when the police abdicates the streets to the criminals and thugs, as they did during an entire week of rioting in every major city thoughout the country.

Which is why the Democrat commit fascists want to disarm the populace, so that can impose an authoritarian regime. We can already see that with the way Democrat mayors and governors are behaving during the shutdowns.

The people have the right to keep and bear arms. It's really that simple.

No, the states have a right to militias- well-regulated-militias.

Not every whackadoodle having a machine gun.

Okay. They did that. Country's still here. The world didn't end. Most of the demonstrations were peaceful. The property that was damaged was covered by insurance.

Here's the ugly truth. 800,000 law enforcement officers can ONLY control 330,000,000 Americans if they have the trust and confidence of the people.

When you have cops shooting people in the back, choking people to death, etc. etc. etc... they don't have that.

Roe and Obergfell were both jiggery pokery,

Naw, buddy, they were practicality.

First, Roe. Roe was built on top of Griswald v. Connecticut, which established that you have the right to contraception. In short, Roe was the logical extension of that ruling. NObody today claims that Griswald was wrongly decided.

Obergefell was built on top of rulings such as Loving v. Virginia. It had already established marriage as a right.

Heller flew in the face of years of previous rulings that had found that the states to indeed have the right to regulate gun ownership and possession, in fact, nearly 200 years of precedent. In fact, US v. Miller was the law of the land for 70 years before the Crazy Heller Decision.

States have rights to militas, people have rights to arms.

Roe was retarded, Obergfell only slightly less so.

States have rights to militas, people have rights to arms.

No, they really don't. It's a bizarre interpretation. At the time the Second was written, most people couldn't afford guns and didn't need them. A gun cost a month's wages for a skilled laborer.

Roe was retarded, Obergfell only slightly less so.

Roe reflected reality. Abortion laws were like prostitution laws are now. They are on the books, the Moral Scolds are happy, women are routinely ignoring them.

There were just as many abortions happening before Roe as after Roe. The birth rate did not drop in 1973, and it actually went up in 1975.

So what happened? How did "Getting rid of unworkable laws that no one was following" become "THE GREAT MORAL ISSUE OF OUR TIME!!!" ?

Very simple. The Evangelicals realized that segregation wasn't getting asses into pews, so they needed a new issue.

Roe was decided by Republican justices and defended by Republican justices ever since.

Watch for Gorsuch and Roberts to have a come to Jesus moment on Roe this year.

No, they didn't. In fact, most of the guns used in the revolutionary war were provided by France.

The Royal Governor of Massachusetts, General Thomas Gage, had forbidden town meetings from taking place more than once a year. When he dispatched the Redcoats to break up an illegal town meeting in Salem, 3000 armed Americans appeared in response, and the British retreated. Gage's aide John Andrews explained that everyone in the area aged 16 years or older owned a gun and plenty of gunpowder.

Military rule would be difficult to impose on an armed populace. Gage had only 2,000 troops in Boston. There were thousands of armed men in Boston alone, and more in the surrounding area. One response to the problem was to deprive the Americans of gunpowder.

Most farms had a long gun, don't know where you get your information from. Oh yeah, I do, your ass.

Roe was bad law, and always will be.

The militiamen in the beginning brought their own arms, later the continental army was supplied by France.

Long guns were kind of useless for military fighting, and most people didn't have them.

Roe was bad law, and always will be.

Roe was a fantastic ruling because it got rid of stupid laws that no one was following.

And what MESSAGE does this send to employers? DON'T HIRE LGBT because they can sue us for dubious reasons. It will have exactly the opposite effect the Big Government Progressive Bliss Ninnies want because they NEVER think of unintended consequences. Why would employers want the potential financial liability and workplace drama???

Then they'd have grounds for hiring discrimination.

In many ways, this is kind of a meaningless victory because we still have "at Will" employment in most states.

But it sends the right message.

And this is why conservatives perceive the ruling as a defeat and setback.

It takes from rightwing bigots the means by which to ‘combat’ the ‘spread’ of homosexuality.

Threatening one’s livelihood is an effective way keep gay and transgender Americans ‘in the closet’ – to send a message to gay and transgender Americans that you’re a hated and unwelcomed minority, that employers should be at liberty to terminate your employment with impunity for no other reason than being gay or transgender.

Easy solution.

Don't hire fags.

Don't hire gays.

Get sued for discrimination.

Um, yeah.

Of course, the real problem is that they don't wear signs. I worked for a woman for a year and a half and never knew she was a lesbian. (Not that it was any of my business.)

I'm sure her boss knew, she worked with him before.

The law doesn't say you can sue someone for not being hired, it says you can sue them for firing you for being gay.

I believe that homosexuality is a mental and physical problem. A birth defect. Like there is studies if a sperm is giving estrogen. And if it is a male sperm. That male sperm that was infected by the estrogen. That it will develop having female desires and or having female physical features. And birth controls pills are high doses of estrogen. And the the pills thickens the mucus so that the sperm will have problem swimming up stream. But that mucus has high dosage of estrogen and the sperm is in-taking in all of that estrogen before it reaches the egg. When a woman that are on the pill. That should wait at least for a couple of months without using the pill before they conceive.
