That seems rather obvious. “From each according to his ability; to each according to his need.” would very obviously appeal much more to someone who perceives his own ability to be relatively low, compared to his perceived needs; someone who expects his needs to be met, disproportionately by the labor of others. Those of us who hope to carry our own weight, to produce enough value through our work to pay for our own needs, are much less likely to find the idea appealing of having to have the fruits of our own labor diminished in order to support those who won't carry their own weight.

Ultimately, I think it's about ability. The study focused on physical ability, but surely, intellectual ability, or even merely a decent work ethic, is just as relevant.

Whether physical, intellectual, or ethically, I think it very obviously stands to reason that those of low ability,or those who perceive their ability to be low, will be most likely to favor a system in which they can ride on the backs of those with greater ability; while those of us with greater ability will much prefer a system that does not burden us with carrying the low-ability parasites' load along with our own.

It is all about the body here. Bigger, stronger people don´t need others, they take what they like. Like the school bully. The others rely on each other. Very simple.

there have been plenty of black power lifters but for some reason white Europeans especially ones from the ex soviet Union countries and Russia of course seem to dominate for some reason !
