No, as long as car companies don't try to use government to force me to help pay off other people's car loans. Car companies also don't have you pay the price for a car then give you a bicycle.So,? Car companies try to convince people to buy cars. Is there anything wrong with that?
There's also the fact that car companies have their own finance arms, so they have skin in game on car loans. IMHO Universities should be responsible for financing the student tuition and take a fixed percentage of the student post-graduation earnings until the loan in paid off, they would be A LOT more discerning on who they admit as well as what curriculum's they teach, kid graduates and can't get a job, they don't get paid.
