Stimulus Costs $246,436 for $59,867 job

The Obama Administration is touting that their stimulus program has saved or created 640,329 jobs since it was enacted back in February through the end of October. This number is updated and posted on the Administration’s recovery.gov web site. That amounts to $246,436 per job based on the $157.8bn that has been awarded so far! Total compensation earned by the average payroll employee during October, on an annualized basis, was $59,867. If the government had simply used the funds awarded so far to pay for a year’s worth of labor, that would have paid for 2.6mn jobs!

This money has created just 20.57 jobs. That’s $1,134,580.80 per job. And as interviews with recipients reveal, even that tiny jobs claim is clearly false, with many of the claims of newly created positions either impossible to verify or lower than reported.

Not even 20 full-time jobs have been created in Hollywood proper.

There is no credible evidence that shows this Administration has "Saved" or "Created" even one job in this country. Their numbers are absolutely bogus. This Administration has already been busted on several occasions for cooking the books so i just don't believe their numbers anymore. This is just a long long miserable Socialist Malaise that has at least three more years to go. Lets hope the people rise up and give the boot to these incompetent Socialists in 2010 & 2012.
