It can't be enforced. Congress made sure money could be offshored for tax avoidance a long time ago. This has been utilized by criminal organizations such as the Trump organization, the Heritage Foundation, various evangelical organizations, to hide money, and support similar terrorist organizations around the world.

Depending on where you are a janitor, you can make 40k a year, where I am, and still raise a family here, likely need two incomes though

Garbage truck drivers in my town are employed by the govt and actually do more then just trash pick up they do town maintenance, buddy of mine works there, since high school, has govt benefits raised two kids, owns his house, retainment, kids in college

As far as day laborer, that’s not a job. That’s I need a job today. Nobody was ever able to raise a family doing that, nor should they, there is no security, it’s literally day to day.
