Something is not right about the upcoming election

There is something about the upcoming election that doesn't seem right, especially in comparison with 2016 and prior elections. I don't know if it has to do with the legal cases against Trump, demonstrations about Israel/Hamas, or Biden's continuing gaffes, but I expect some sort of "perfect storm" combination of events that will be as disruptive as anything the US has experienced since 1860.

I am not talking about events after the election, but rather the events leading up to it. The idea of Trump being reelected is very threatening to the Democrat Establishment, and I do not see it peacefully conceding defeat any more than Trump did in 2020. Among other things, we will have continuing disputes about who will appear on various state ballots and Presidential debates between candidates who are not even their party's nominees.

In addition, it seems likely that the US will be embroiled in at least two wars during this election. What emergency measures might be taken in that event? Fasten your seat belts and affix your blast shields. The shit is about to hit the fan.

That's right. The USA has a criminal defendant as the de facto nominee of a major political party. It's disgraceful.

You mean the fact that we have two dwindling old fucks to choose from?

Two dwindling old fucks that are never going to do anything for average Americans

Unless it helps the oligarchs on the back end

Or maybe how some people now hate their co workers, neighbors, friends and even family because they disagree with them politically?

Like that?

So, you are not concerned about the trumptards rioting after losing the last election.

You are not concerned about Trump and the other Republican retards trying actively to overturn the election results.

You are not concerned about Trump and the other Republican retards dodging answering the question - "Will you accept the 2024 election results"?

But you are concerned about an imaginary scenario where Dems are going to riot? Yeah, and you idiots wonder why the world laughs at you. :itsok:

What's very different this year is that the Marxist campaign to destroy the USA is reaching critical mass. They are in "By Any Means Necessary" mode, so I expect we will see a lot of domestic terrorism aided by foreign actors on the part of the commies.

While the word, "unique" (one of a kind) is often used promiscuously, the 2020 Presidential election was unique in American - and probably world - history.

Having emphatically rejected the folly of mail-in balloting many decades ago, "we" allowed this election to be decided by tens of millions of eminently questionable mail-in ballots. Further, never before had one person spent hundreds of millions of dollars ($400 million +) in a campaign to ensure a Democrat win, while falsely labeling itself a "get-out-the-vote" initiative.

Never before had a small army of high-level government retirees signed on to a phony letter, publicized massively, trying to impact the election with false information about a candidate and his son.

Never before had a major party candidate campaigned "from his basement," making only a sporadic few public appearances during the heat of the General Election campaign.

Never before had a major social cataclysm (the Pandemic) occurred immediately before an election, thus making it impossible to assess realistically the President's handling of the situation, and subjecting him to countless baseless slanders and accusations by a compromised Media.

There can be no doubt that had the Pandemic not occurred, or had the election been held a year earlier, or had the rules of 2016 prevailed, Trump would have won in a landslide.

Maybe next time we can have a fair election. It is yet to be seen.

So let me see if I can summarize where this race stands at this moment. The Republican candidate for president owes half a billion in fines for bank fraud and is currently spending his days farting himself awake during a porn star hush money trial and the race is TIED?!? The race is tied. Nothing makes sense anymore. - Colin Jost at the 2024 White House Correspondents Dinner

At least you admit Trump didn’t concede....

jotathought thinks he did.

We won’t be embroiled in any war any time soon. Stop lying.

We had a fair election in 2020. You have no proof otherwise other than your impotent anger.

Republicans were welcome to challenge the validity of any mail on votes

They failed repeatedly

I wonder how these TDS patients will feel about their posts when/if they ever grow up. I suspect they will be madly deleting this evidence of their affliction.

The weirdest thing is the incumbent being too doddering to stand trial for his crimes yet still chosen by his party to run for another term.

Close second is how weird it is that the incumbent party is skipping campaigning in favor of prosecuting the challenger.

Go figure.

Why do you jag-offs pretend to rebut what I say without contradicting anything I've written or presenting any contrary information to back you up? Are you too stupid to do so, or is it just a matter of my making points that you cannot rebut?

I won't lose any sleep over it. In order to insult someone you have to have at least a modicum of cred. You don't.

2020 Election was the most honest in history

Never had so many voted
Never has there been so many recounts to verify the results
Never so many unverified legal challenges
