There are no universally accepted definitions.
Russel Kirk gave 12 conservative principles. But you don't have to align with all 12 to be a conservative.
But just when are you aligned? 5, 7, 9?????
Inquiring minds want to know.
The word "conservative" in America today means this according to EMH
1. favoring smaller, more limited government, hence more freedom
2. lower taxes to reward hard working people financially
3. skepticism of "new ideas to grow government" and "crisis" manufactured to grow government aka CO2 FRAUD, Covid, "Islamic terror," drug war etc.
4. freedom to practice religion in peace not fear, but no "national religion" and freedom to not be religious
5. protecting America, closing the border, having the best military
6. non interventionalist foreign policy, staying out of trouble outside our borders unless there is a direct US national interest
7. balancing the federal budget and reducing debt primarily by cutting spending
8. opposing government control of healthcare, preventing disasters like government forcing people to get Murderous Fraud Vax
9. sunshine, the American people should be able to easily track every cent of government spending
10. a complete audit of what CIA is and where it spends our money
11. no discrimination, no preferential treatment, a merit oriented country in every aspect
12. school vouchers, educational freedom and choice for poor parents
13. skepticism of the motives of homosexuals to be around America's kids, and banning homosexual from being employed to work with kids
