So why is there an Easter bunny for the holiday celebrating Jesus' resurrection?

Jesus died so we could hunt chocolate eggs and marshmallow peeps. He rose again after three days so fat ladies could wear funny hats to church.

Well you know how the preachers preach that Rome will form a one world religion using a false prophet as a compilation of cultures beliefs.....it occured already in forming Christianity.

The ring worn by the Popes is the fishman god ring (Dagon) that they are kissing. He was the Father of Baal, who is the father of the morning star-rev 22:16.
This is why the Ishtar (easter) myth is that she births a giant egg by the river bed in which a fish is hatched called
the morning star. This is why they wear the fish head hat called Mitre and have scales on their robes or trim. This is why they use the sun symbol cross of Baal and his Dec25th birthday and claim Father (Baal) and son of the morning (Jesus) are one(in the same mythology).

Professor H. Zimmern, in German, of an ancient tablet
which Jackson reports (citing Findlay) as Babylonian
dating back to circa 2000 BC now in the British
Museum in which the Babylonian myth of Bel (Baal in
Hebrew) is described in a passion play in which:
(1) Bel is taken prisoner;
(2) Bel is tried in a great hall;
(3) Bel is smitten;
(4) Bel is led away to the Mount (a sacred grove on a
hilltop);
(5) with Bel are taken two malefactors, one of whom is
released;
(6) After Bel has gone to the Mount and is executed,
the city breaks into tumult;
(7) Bel's clothes are carried away;
(8.) Bel goes down into the Mount and disappears from
life;
(9) weeping women seek Bel at the Tomb;
(10) Bel is brought back to life.

pagan ritual...

ll the fun things about Easter are pagan. Bunnies are a leftover from the pagan festival of Eostre, a great northern goddess whose symbol was a rabbit or hare. Exchange of eggs is an ancient custom, celebrated by many cultures. Hot cross buns are very ancient too. In the Old Testament we see the Israelites baking sweet buns for an idol, and religious leaders trying to put a stop to it. The early church clergy also tried to put a stop to sacred cakes being baked at Easter. In the end, in the face of defiant cake-baking pagan women, they gave up and blessed the cake instead.

It is my understanding the Easter Bunny originated among German Lutherans as a means to control children behavior by suggesting that the bunny acted like Santa Claus in determining whether their behavior was good or bad for how many and what kind of gifts they would get on Easter.

Rabbits are a European symbol of fertility. Eggs also are a symbol of fertility.

Easter is an appropriation of pre-existing European pagan tradition.
