I suspect the numbers and the result will be approximately the same as last time. Both sides have gotten more entrenched, but the few people switching sides appear to be cancelling each other out.

The Democrats' electoral problems have no remedy. They tend to cluster around sources of free stuff. Big cities, universities. They will win huge majorities in New York, Coastal California, Boston, Chi-town...the usual suspects. Trump will win the rest of the country in a landslide, and the popular vote will be approximately equal, if you exclude California.

but not all of those white people are Republican. There’s a lot of white people Republicans really really hate to the point of wanting to do violence to them.
