You seriously can't make this up. I mean for the love of God, someone that damn ignorant of American History has no place on the city council, let alone US Congress. Can someone be booted from Congress for being an idiot?

The guy is a idiot , but be careful what you wish for because if you could be booted from Congress for being stupid, there wouldn't be a Squad.

I find it very disturbing. Hell, when Georgia was founded George Washington was two months old. Does the dude even know that Georgia was one of the 13 colonies? But it just gets so much worse than that.

Georgia was established as a Province in 1733, one year after being established as a colony. It was formed under the Oglethorpe plan. There is no doubt, that plan would be roundly condemned by the right. And it's core, social equity and civic virtue. I mean can you imagine, actually using the word "equity". We see how the right likes that now. Damn bunch of communists. It included the following components, equitable land distribution, stable land ownership, and SLAVERY WAS BANNED.

Modeled after the Province of North Carolina with two distinctions, no slavery and no aristocracy. I mean look at this picture. Could you have slaves in Boston, in New York City, in Philadelphia in 1735? Yes, but Savannah, that is a big NO. The reality, Georgia was freer under the Oglethorpe plan than when this nation was founded. Washington didn't virtually "invent" freedom, he was part of the suppression of that freedom.

If they could be booted for ignorance, there’d hardly be anyone left.

Was Britain's King George II last name Washington? Probably not.

Yeah, Georgia is still fucked up to this day.
