So California is on fire again...

Power line sensors detected arcing. Now who would have thought that electric power lines were/are at fault.

"Brendan Thorn, who lives in a house that backs up to Eaton Canyon, says his power flickered around 6:10 p.m. And a few minutes later, a neighbor called to say there was a fire under the power lines"

There we have a report from an eyewitness. Now maybe the RWingers can chew on that by blaming reality.

Since 36% of California's electricity comes from renewable sources...over one third of the cause of this fire is due to green energy, and zero percent due to climate change. :eusa_whistle:

Eucalyptus doesn't grow in chaparral ... too dry ...

You've never seen a picture of the Hollywood sign ... do you see 150 foot tall Eucalyptus trees? ... God you people are stupid ...

NB: This is a problem further north particularly in the SF Bay Area ... the 1991 Tunnel Fire in the Oakland hills ... although it's the grass and brush that catch fire first, the eucalyptus will burn ... as well as the native Redwood ... like in 1906 ... obviously, California didn't learn her lessons ...

I have a possible theory that a partisan conservative might have stated the fire due to Trump's winning the president office.Since the fatty Arbuckle scandal from one decade after another conservatives not in the business , have feared and hated Hollywood attempting to stop it. This could of also been done by a hired arsonist from the republican party ,so that by the time trump becomes president he would have power to keep it in shambles if it's not rebuild as conservative city, another Montgomery ala or not rebuild it at all as a punishment for being allegedly liberal .

so you have a conspiracy theory that you want to have a clean debate on??

my theory is it was started by progressives wanting to depopulate the area by burning the people out of their homes,,

Whoever did this knows they did... and you will not get away with it... and you had better hope the cops get to you first before the people do....

A homeless man was arrested after a video showed him using what appeared to be a "flamethrower" in an attempt to start one of the Los Angeles County wildfires, KTLA reports.

The unidentified suspect was seen riding around on a bicycle and setting fire to several old Christmas trees and garbage cans in the area of Woodland Hills at around the same time as the Kenneth Fire sparked, according to local residents. Renata Grinshpun told the news station said she witnessed a car come to a screeching stop and a man yelling, "Neighbors, he's trying to start a fire! Call 911!"

Grinshpun said she saw the man holding a large "propane tank or a flamethrower" as he attempted to torch debris in the area before neighbors intervened, cornering the man while he tried to ride off on his bicycle, in video footage shared by KTLA.
