In 09 Obama gave$2500 per household for college.

The federal government has for decades offered tax credits to families paying for college. Last year, it spent $23 billion on three programs offering tax credits for college tuition, books and supplies. But critics say that the money hasn't reached the families that need it the most.

Damn good thing the Republicans are all set to give TAX CREDITS for healthcare because healthcare is much CHEAPER than college. Theres no way in hell this country could afford subsidies in the current OBAMA healthcare plan.

I still get a $1,000 credit on my taxes for being a full time student. You get to take the credit for 3 years I believe.

earned income tax credits ..

While the EITC is administered through the tax code, it is primarily a spending program. The EITC is “refundable,” meaning that individuals who pay no income taxes are nonetheless eligible to receive a payment from the U.S. Treasury. Of the $69 billion in benefits this year, about 88 percent, or $60 billion, is spending.

uh huh.. GOP healthcare tax credits = spending.

got it.
