If it's "on them" then what is this conversation even about? All of the white, trailer trash Republican voters scattered all over the southern states and Appalachia are on welfare either because there aren't any jobs, the jobs that are available don't pay enough to allow a transition off welfare and still survive, or they're just too "lazy" to work.
There isn't much that can be done about the latter group...besides letting them and their families starve to death and then tossing them, men, women, children and elders into open graves to serve as a stark reminder on the evening news of the need to take low paying jobs even if they won't pay your rent and utilities and groceries and insurance and childcare or even buy the gas needed to drive back and forth from your "job" at the Dollar General store.

America spends 17% of its GDP on Health Care. Most of the single-payer nations pay from 8% to 11%.

And yet we have millions who are uninsured, we have the lowest life expectancy in the Industrialized World, we have the highest infant mortality rate, and 62% of bankruptcies are linked to Medical Crisis.

But do go on about how our system is so much better.
