SNAP benefits about to be cut off -- and she don't like it

A lot of these videos are fake, but this one looks real. It's funny how the she boon itemizes her crimes. The really goofy thing though, is that she somewhat nails it. Many store policies prohibit their workers from pursuing these shoplifting cockroaches. It's for the very reasons grunted by the she boon.
And word will quickly get out which stores allow thieves to walk out with stolen property.

The point is SNAP benefits might not be available for people next month because of the Trump/Johnson government shutdown. You seem to think all welfare recipients simply need to go find a job and problem solved. I am simply telling you it would be nice if this issue was that simplistic, but it isn't.
Its' funny how far leftists turn all these issues into "grey" matter or say they are "complex." You muddle the issues so much that you virtually condone thievery and baby killing.

I'm all for government-run groceries to serve food deserts.

I don't think the grocery chains would like it, though.
The grocery chains wouldn’t care. They wouldn’t be there in the food desert anyway.

Doesn't your church get most money to help the needy from the Government with the Faith based Initiative laws passed under President Bush? Will the govt shut down affect those Catholic charity monies that they get from govt that help feed the poor? They probably are falling short on help right now too??
.

My wallet doesn't seem to agree with you.

Definitely. I was in a store a couple of months ago and witnessed such a shoplifting event. I know a lot of the employees. The night manager was miffed and embarrassed that he could not follow a thief outside the store.

Huh? I hate poor people because I want to stop them from stealing other people’s property, after they’ve threatened to do so? I guess you’re one of those libtards who would like to make shoplifting legal.

You’re an absolute idiot. They would have GREATER reduced profits if they just let thugs walk out the door with all their food.

No, I want people to not be poor so they don't have to resort to stealing.

Lisa, it's been established that you hate poor people, especially the brown ones.

So, let's look at your "idiocy". You don't want to give poor people a stipend to buy basic foodstuffs, but if they steal food, you want to lock them up at a cost of $30,000 - $108,000 a year.

I live in a liberal area, and beggars come up to customers IN THE STORE and pester them for money. The store seems to allow it.

No, they are happy to make poor people travel to get food.

I live in one of the nicer suburbs, I see people from Chicago with their SNAP cards all the time.

Now, if they stopped taking SNAP cards, I would take them seriously. But none of them are willing to walk away from money like that.

Thank you for displaying your ignorance.

40% of households on SNAP have at least one family member that works.

The rest are elderly or disabled.
Disabled as in can't get their fat arse out of that chair and work

Oh, noes, those poor people pestering poor Lisa by actually existing!!!

Do you realize what a nasty piece of work you come off as?

You have something to back that up?

More than three-quarters of those families had at least one person working and about one-third included two or more workers, a clear indication that many families that rely on nutritional assistance worked.

SNAP, a federal program that helps millions of low-income families put food on their table, provides benefits to supplement a family’s food budget and purchase healthy food.

SNAP benefits are given monthly on an EBT (electronic benefits transfer) card and can be used to purchase food at grocery and convenience stores and at some farmers markets.

In addition to information about receipt of SNAP benefits in 2018, the ACS asks about the characteristics of households and families, including employment of family members.

A U.S. Census Bureau brief released today provides details on households that receive SNAP benefits.

Also, these welfare families are often multigenerational, with three or four adults and three or four minors. One of the adults might work.

For example, you can have a 48-year old mother with five children ranging from 5 to 22. The 22-year old has a baby, and the18-year old a baby. Not a SINGLE baby daddy is pitching it. They all get food stamps.

Question, what do you suppose keeps that generational welfare taker in the video from getting a job

Um, yeah, because the problem with those kinds of confrontations is they escalate and someone gets hurt. So what's cheaper, losing $50.00 worth of groceries or paying out thousands of dollars in an injury lawsuit when the shoplifter or the employer gets injured?

Try to think for a change.
