Singing the Star Spangled Banner in Spanish at Los Angeles Dodgers game

She is not a foreigner. She is bilingual, like many in California, Texas, and the Southwest-including many of the fans at the game.
Spanish is not a foreign language, any more than English, Cajun French, or low German in Central Texas.
You've told her twice but her prejudice is in over drive. Yes, she was born in the U.S.

You didn't post anything to me on my post you replied to, other than horseshit which had nothing to do with my post you quoted.

I really don't understand why these venues hire questionalbe people who can't be trusted to do what you pay them for (even if unpaid), knowing these people would rather make political statements instead. Don't hire anyone for these types of things unless you know you can trust them to just do the jobs they were hired for.

once again, perhaps your performance would be better

Singing the Star-Spangled Banner in a foreign language is not inherently bad, but it can be seen as disrespectful by some. While the anthem's meaning remains the same regardless of the language, some feel it should be sung in English to maintain its original intent and connection to American identity. Others view translations as a way to connect with a broader audience and recognize the diverse linguistic landscape of the United States.

Does not make any difference to me as long as it sounds good
I don't see a problem with it being sung in another language since people from all over the world are living here. After all, if we were really about singing the true national anthem, we would have 500 different songs to sing because of the 500 nations that were already here when Europeans floated over here.

Don’t tell me to stop it. Unless you’re doing the leftist thing and trying to silence opposing opinions that disagree with yours.

AND there is no comparison to a Mexican restaurant with a bathroom sign in Spanish. We are talking about the American National Anthem!

Lisa talk to sassy please

lets do the numbers

The Dodgers will have 81 home games at Dodger Stadium in the 2025 regular season

one in 81, go ahead calculate.
What does that have to do with anything? The American National Anthem should be sung in the language that all Americans understand.

I understand more than one language because I like to speak to people and learn new things.

do not like it Take a seat or walk out
Yup….thats the attitudes of foreigners who come to this country. “Accept that we will exclude Americans who speak English. If you don’t like it, leave.”

And you, another leftist, has no problem excluding white, English-speaking Americans from enjoying our National Anthem because we don’t speak Spanish.

Lisa, if you do not like it, you get up and walk out. That is the American way. You do not come back and you vote with your pocket book.

15th post
according to whom
and what language would that be
According to Americans who don’t want to be excluded from enjoying our National Anthem.

How do you think the leftists would react if a Jew got up and sang the American National Anthem in Hebrew?

Amazing how in 64 years in the US I have never heard that once from people who have moved here and speak in their native tongues.

**** trumps agenda
Why, Booboo?
I bet he'd like to see the Red Man represented more as should rightly be in America right now, but isn't.
Tbh it looks to me like the Commies have been trying to erase all public icons relating to Native Americans and whitewash them.
