Singing the Star Spangled Banner in Spanish at Los Angeles Dodgers game

For some reason, IM2 thinks excluding half the people at a baseball game because they don’t speak Spanish is a “strength,”
Half the people watching the game are taking a leak or buying beer... but thats ok.

He's annoying, everything is black or white. That's just racism
Wrong. I respond to your racism. And because you suffer from white fragility, you can't handle it. Seeing things as a black person pertaining to race isn't racism. Racism is the belief in your racial superiority to the extent that you think a person singing the national anthem in Spanish is some kind of disrespect.

Unacceptable, unless she ALSO sang it in English.
A common language is the only thing that holds us together. If you believe this country is divided now, wait until half the population cannot speak English. English is the language that should be promoted above all other languages.

Singing the Star-Spangled Banner in a foreign language is not inherently bad, but it can be seen as disrespectful by some. While the anthem's meaning remains the same regardless of the language, some feel it should be sung in English to maintain its original intent and connection to American identity. Others view translations as a way to connect with a broader audience and recognize the diverse linguistic landscape of the United States.

Does not make any difference to me as long as it sounds good

You'd need to be an Anglo-Saxon to feel the vibe, I am, but I don't feel the vibe because, well, it's boring.
