I have never read even one post claiming any of we Republicans love the Confederates. We only claim they were absolutely correct since they formed a new nation. If they were criminals then so was Washington and his followers who clearly committed Treason. We would allege so did the Confederates but for the fact it was Abe who invaded their new country and not the Confederates invading Maryland or Pa. Ft Sumter does not compute due to the facts Troops were in the new country and refused requests to leave. Also none of the US Troops were so much as injured by the piss poor cannons used by the Confederates who simply demanded they leave the lawful state of S. Carolina. We are current citizens and of course we support racial equality. What the hell is that anyway? We do not care what race you mention and you did not mention White equality which we also support.

Since slavery really didn't end until the 1940's and in fact a person can still be enslaved if they commit a crime, which is why high black incarcerations are being questioned, you might want to drop that argument on that basis alone. Secondly reparations are not just for slavery, but the continuing racism afterwards. Then finally there is this that shuts down your dumb excuse laden argument entirely:
