Two intractable wars, slowing economy, record oil prices, International reputation in tatters, inflation now at 10%, un-checked Constitutional violations, National debt approaching ten trillion dollars, corruption of the Justice Dept., pardoning those who cover-up treason...

All sound reasons to vote for Grampie McBush!

Please explain how Obama will fix even any of these problems.

In today's Los Angeles Times Buisness section "Inflation rise puts Fed on spot"... "The overall index was up 9.8% from a year earlier, the sharpest rise since 1980-81"

Sorry I exaggerated by .2%.

Oh really? We haven't been in two wars for the last 7 years? (Longer than WWII). The economy isn't slowing? Unemployment in Calif. is up to 7%. The national debt isn't approaching 10 trillion dollars? Why did Congress raise the debt limit to 10 trillion dollars?

Link, or it didn't happen.

The inflation rate in July was 5.52%.

Did the LA Times update there Thursday, Aug 15 story that had inflation at
5.6%?

High energy costs hike consumer prices in July
The inflation rate, at 5.6%, is the highest in 17 years, the Labor Department says. High energy costs hike consumer prices in July - Los Angeles Times

Apparently he doesn't know the difference between the inflation rate, the producer price index, and I'm guessing the consumer price index, either.

That means it was 9.8% higher than a year ago, not that inflation is 10% (or even 9.8%).

1-Clearly you do not know what the Inflation Index is. All that stat says is it is up 9.8% from a year ago. That is not the same thing as 9.8% inflation. Currently Inflation is around 5.5%, and even that number is seriously inflated by a few commodities. namely energy. Most products have not increased at that same rate.

2-I am still waiting for you to Tell us all how Obama will fix all our problems with his Socialist agenda!

Stop your crying, Michigan's Unemployment rate is 10%, and it is not because of Bush or the Republicans. It is a direct result of the policies of our Liberal Democrat former Canadian Governor. The bitch has literally chased business out of this state with higher taxes and tighter regulations. Yet fools in this state re-elected here while I was living in Florida for a year.

That's it in a nutshell.

God, these Republicans are stupid. The corporate lobbyists are screwing them in the butt, and all they can say is, "Yea, elect McCain!"

Dumb as a box of rocks...
