Shouldn't Trump be addressing the nation?

He gave a speech yesterday. Kissed the ass of the filthy protestors and "mababydindunutin" family. You Moon Bats should love him.

During crises like these, past presidents addressed the nation in order to offer healing and reassure the population.
Why hasn't Trump done it and is he planning on doing it?

You running out of things to whine about...I find that hard to believe.

Possibly he's waiting for more information on the rioters and looters, plus some idea of what the plan will be going forward to deal with these situations in the future. And what the federal gov't might do to help the people affected by all the damage and looting. For that he probably needs to be talking with the Congress, both sides.

More information? Trump claims he knows it's ANTIFA doing it. He doesn't need no stinking information.

I think he should.

State clearly and remind people that he immediately brought in the FBI and DOJ because he was so disturbed by the video. Remind people that both police and the majority of protesters (not rioters) are good citizens and assure citizens that he has ordered the FBI and DOJ to make this their top priority. They will also intervene in any other cases where there is evidence of such violence and/or death.

He can then talk about the fact that rioting is not assisting and any groups behind this will be persecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

You have confused Trump with most democrats, they don't need no stinkin' information either. Whatever they hear on MSM is thee truth, right? Actually, I was referring to anything to report on who they are and where they come from and any progress made in identifying who is behind the scenes providing money to these people. Those guys aren't there to protest Floyd's killing, they're there to pillage and burn.

“With protests turning into nights of rage, Minneapolis is revealing the open wounds of racism that a true leader would at least acknowledge, if not seek to heal. Floyd's death should evoke the kind of grief that would move a president to compassion and concern. Instead, Trump threatens to take us back to the bad-old days of the 1960s when civil rights protesters were met by Public Safety Commissioner Bull Connor's police dogs in Birmingham and a national commission's report on the racism that led to a surge in riots was widely read but then largely forgotten.

If he remains true to the old script of the 1960s, Trump will likely seek an advantage in this crisis by playing the strongman. He is likely to stoke the fears of those who are more alarmed by the smoke and flames than by systemic racism and police brutality and offer himself as the defender of order who is willing to crack down with lethal force.”

Exactly.

Why? so you can bitch about what he says, regardless of what he says?
Like you bitched about everything Obama said.

everything?

please provide proof, you have years of my posts to look through.

Most of my complaints are about people like YOU, not the politicians you support.

Shouldnt Nancy Pelosi from San Fransicko and Up Chuck Schumer from New York be out in front of a microphone telling the Democrat Rioters and Looters to "Knock it off", because this will make President Trump win the 2020 election by all 50 states...

Right after the death of George Floyd, at the hands of law enforcement, he made a public announcement. He said he was going to have the DOJ investigate this death.
As for these idiotic riots...the responses are a matter for the Mayors and Governors.....they are state and local matters and in the case of Minnesota, its governor, sent in the National Guard. That's an appropriate "response," for large scale rioting.

Exactly.
This has absolutely nothing to do with racism it's hiding behind racism for sure though.
