Should We Get Some Boots On The Ground?

Should We Get Boots On The Ground In Iran If Negotiations Aren't Met?

I used to like the idea of not having an ignore list. I like to listen to all views. But many people here consistently shit post. So I have a couple dozen of these nitwits on mine. If I get bored, sometimes I'll click on "show ignorant content". But that makes it a conscious choice. I don't read their bullshit as a matter of course.

Show ignorant content? LOL that kind of content is EVERYWHERE on here.

Yep she's full of it alright, but I'm just curious why you answered my poll question as no. What was your reasoning?
What does 'boots on the ground' mean? Is it a conventional invasion or a serious of special operations missions? If the later, I not only support it but I think it is an indispensable part of achieving our goals, but a full scale invasion is a horror show for everyone involved and it leaves us in control of Iran and with the responsibility to reconstruct it, which too often turns into a new horror show.

If it turns out there is no other way to achieve our goals - no nuclear weapons program, no long range missiles, no more support of terrorism, and the end of Iran's imperialist ambitions - then I would support a full scale invasion, but I'm not convinced we've reached that point yet.

The latter and yeah that's right you did say something about it earlier, my apologies.

If negotiations haven't been made in say... About thirty days? Give or take that is but I would say that that would be a fair amount of time. I say yes because since Iran has been pumping out oil into the gulf, if being shot to death doesn't kill the Iranian people, pollution will at some point.

Good God, this is a stupider-than-pig shit idea. Most of the 50,000 or so troops we have over there aren't even combat folk; they're logistics, support etc. Iran has a million-man army. I also suggest you Google the terrain along the Iranian coast. Our guys would be sitting ducks.
