If negotiations haven't been made in say... About thirty days? Give or take that is but I would say that that would be a fair amount of time. I say yes because since Iran has been pumping out oil into the gulf, if being shot to death doesn't kill the Iranian people, pollution will at some point.

Sure, but best to wait till the dust settles from wiping out newly obtained targets.

It is always the same isn't it. It is always the lazy, infirm, old, and retired, or those with a monetary interest, who are the first to send others to die in foreign wars. If you want to send others to die, get off your fat ass and move to the Middle East or volunteer for the military. American kids should not die for your lost causes.

Boots on the ground is too vague a term. It could mean a massive invasion such as we had in Iraq or it could mean special forces carrying out well defined mission. Our goal is to change Iran's behavior toward the rest of the world, and we will achieve this with our advanced technology and diplomacy and smart deployments of troops as needed to accomplish specific missions.

This is our war too.

No. Iran is basically a mountain fortress. And they're religious fanatics. They won't give up.

Quagmire.

The leaders are fanatics, but the widespread anti government protests and reports of increasing desertions and defections and refusal to serve when called tell us the Iranian people are not.

The soldier are fanatics to. Bred for it. The point is, they won't give up. We could take Tehran and destroy all their infrastructure and they'll just go guerrilla in the hills. They can't hope to defeat us, but if we try to take control of the country it will be the epitome of a forever war.

And it shouldn't be. Israel needs to put on their big boy pants and learn to get along with their neighbors.
Their "Death to America" is not driven by your anti-sematism

The goal is not to control Iran but only to control Iran's behavior toward the rest of the world, that is, no nuclear weapons, no long range missile, no support for terrorism and no more imperialistic wars.

In any case, the soldiers are people who aren't being paid and are suffering serious shortages of food and ammunition, who are increasingly deserting and refusing order to report for duty.

Ok. Boots on thew ground is still a mistake, for the reasons I cited.

Maybe. We'll see. In just another week or two, right?
