How do you know? I have a ton of empty Manila folder that once held important documents. Maybe those classified docs that Trump flushed while in the White House originally had a folder which Trump kept. Or maybe he had a stack of blank folders in the resolute desk so if he wrote a letter or signed a document they could file them away in the designated folder. Don’t know, I’m spitballing here.

But also, it could be he destroyed certain top secret contents of the Mueller report???

Actually the other side of the automatic declassification argument. The governments burden that the documents were classified, is clearly met by the classification markings on the documents.

Trump has to rebut that presumption by proving by compelling evidence, that he declassified the documents. BUT..... that requires he be able to identify each document, and give a reasonable recollection of when each individual document was taken to the residence.

Trumps power to purposefully declassify isn't questioned. But Trump can't declassify documents he doesn't even know he's declassifying.

But it is highly unlikely that Trump would have those supplies as president, it would likely be an aide or mark meadows handling the petty details of covering a note from trump that was top secret, to another cabinet member.... He really is not in to details like that, imho!

But we can only pray, it was just something like supplies!

One thing is for certain, a lot of man hours investigating the top secret documents they did find in security jackets and these empty security classification jackets wll have to be investigated to see if there was any national security damage.

They can finger print the jackets, perhaps....see if all are finger printed with Trump's... Would show they were not just supplies, I suppose....and maybe show fingerprints of others handing the cover sheets....? I dunno?

Right it could be a number of things and I definitely think they need to figure out if the envelops had docs in them and if so where they are. I just think we need to slow down on the accusations until facts are uncovered. There is plenty of verified and damning stuff out there. Making too many presumptions about the unknowns doesn’t help the conversation.

Maybe we will get all the power, all up and down the ballot. After Thursday, it's quite possible.

What if we asserted our power exactly as you are doing? Wouldn't that be most excellent? I think it would be great. I would cheer it and laugh, if you all could see what you THOUGHT Trump would be, but what Biden actually IS.
