Whites are hired because they can easily articulate the Enlish language…they can say ask and axe…they have people and communication skills…they don’t leave combs stuck in their hair…they wear their pants at waist level…they show up to work on time everyday and follow simple instructions. Not so fast. Teams with majority white players routinely beat teams with majority black players. Just today in the Big Ten Tournament Wisconsin started 3 white and 2 black players and beat U.C.L.A. who started 4 blacks and 1 white player.
Not to belabor the point, but the fact is proportionately there are far more black superstars in the NFL and NBA as well as in the NCAA. Going into March madness, This year Duke was/is the #1 AA men's basketball team in the country. This is their starting five most games:

Those guys in the photograph aren't there because they are black. They are there because they are extremely talented basketball players. They could just as easily have been white because their skin color is immaterial. They are the best of the best on the Duke team not because of their skin color but because they are so gifted.

And the fact is in many sports on average, there will be more gifted black people than white ones. That's just the way it is and that's okay.

2. Insist that society benefits when DEI is the criteria for hiring, appointments, promotions even if qualifications need to be lowered to achieve it.

Why is diversity more important than skill and competence? Answer: It is not.

Also, America was founded on the ideal of equality of opportunity, not outcome.

The number one variable for economic and educational success is intelligence. This is regardless of race, gender, or ethnicity. This has been know in psychology and psychometrics for decades. Thousands of studies have confirmed this basic fact.

If you are bright, universities and employers want you. If you are not bright, your options become much more limited.

Oprah Winfrey, to use one example, is a billionaire because she is very bright, is a very good businesswoman, and is talented.

People who claim racism to explain their failures in life are sad. The facts do not support their biased assumptions.

The Rooney Rule was to make sure there were no artificial barriers to minorities qualifying for head coach positions It required NFL teams must interview at least one minority candidate for those positions It did not require that any team MUST hire a minority nor should its standards be reduced in any way to qualify a minority candidate. They called it DEI but it wasn't DEI at least as practiced in the Biden Administration.

For sure those NFL head coaches who happen to be men of color, not one can be accused of being the DEI hire. They all had the best qualifications for their jobs at the time.
DEI is about hiring qualified people of color. Only you racists have tried making that stale claim about unqualified people of color passing over better qualified whites. In the history of this nation unqualified whites have been hired before more qualified people of color time and time again.

So while whites had 190 years to accumulate wealth and excluded others from doing so, they expect us to catch up in less than 1/3 of that time while constantly fighting a white backlash.

So tell us oh wise Mac1958, how do you erase damage created by laws favoring whites without considering the people affected by the damage?
