Incorrect. Have you ever heard of the Rooney Rule? DEI is a major part of sports.
The Rooney Rule was to make sure there were no artificial barriers to minorities qualifying for head coach positions It required NFL teams must interview at least one minority candidate for those positions It did not require that any team MUST hire a minority nor should its standards be reduced in any way to qualify a minority candidate. They called it DEI but it wasn't DEI at least as practiced in the Biden Administration.

For sure those NFL head coaches who happen to be men of color, not one can be accused of being the DEI hire. They all had the best qualifications for their jobs at the time.

Diversity does not relate to effectiveness, equity does not contribute to effectiveness, and neither does inclusion.
It stops whites from hiring incompetent whites over more qualified people of color. Data shows that diverse companies are more sucessful, so yes it does equate to effectiveness. You cannot see your own racisn. You assume that whites are the only competent candidates.

The racist argues that if DEI was normal then there wouldn't be as many blacks in the NFL or NBA. The fact you are in here exhibiting this behavior shows me that what you are saying in regards to Oprah is a load of BS.

If you spent your life being outnumbered 5:1 by blacks and were raised in a black centric society, educated in a back centric education system, taught black history, philospohy and socialized to live according to black peoples laws and mores in rder t survive, I would not feel a thing.

Your argument is based on a false equivaence. Whites and blacks have not had the same experience here, and whites outnumber blacks 4 or 5 to 1. Therefore we have more contact with whites than whites do with us. I doubt if you have ever spent years in places where you were the only white in a room full of blacks. I have been in that situation with whites.

Mid 2000's I spent a couple of years working for myself in the hood in St. Petersburg for black Gentlemen of questionable income installing alarms and cameras. I came highly recommended by other black Gentlemen of questionable income. I stayed in the hood. I well understand, IM2 that I ain't your average white boy. Thing is I'm fu(king cool. I've heard $h!t like "don't talk to my white boy" or "that mutha fu(ka is ten times smarter than you, shut up!" from my black customers. I've these stories in my horse thread. I've been the only white person for blocks in the hood.

I'm cool like that. The only thing my black customers cared about me was that I was more than competent at my job.

But then, IM2 you did say 'doubt.' Now that I've told you that with me it's the exact opposite of what you said there it's your turn.

It looked at 1700 different companies across 8 different countries, with varying industries and company sizes. They have found that increasing diversity has a direct effect on the bottom line. Companies that have more diverse management teams have 19% higher revenue due to innovation.

A recent BCG study suggests that increasing the diversity of leadership teams leads to more and better innovation and improved financial performance. In both developing and developed economies, companies with above-average diversity on their leadership teams report a greater payoff from innovation and higher EBIT margins.
