This isn't a "socialist agenda" you ignorant dolt. With a $7.25 minimum wage, working families don't make enough money for childcare. It's not a socialist agenda that keeps the minimum wages so low that no one can live on the wages. It's a right wing capitalist agenda that keeps workers so poor they can't afford to have children.
The rest of the world's first world nations pay their workers a living wage, provide government funded universal health care, quality education, and generous child tax benefits to assist young families with the costs, like child care and early childhood programs.
ALL of these nations have healthier, happier, better educated and more productive workers, less poverty and more opportunity than the USA. The only real path to success and wealth is the USA today is to be born wealthy. If you're born poor in the USA today, you have a 2% chance of moving up to the middle class. In 1980, before the Republican tax and labour codes, you had a 20% chance.
