Prove it. Every round I shoot gets its velocity measured with a Caldwell Ballistic Precision chronograph, and the targets are photographed and entered into my reloading data. And I shoot thousands of rounds per year.

hey I got the same meter and I am getting 2950 fps on average from a 24" shilen custom barrel.
As for myself I have a very nice trigger squeeze and shooting from prone or bench I shoot clovers.
I use a ZEISS Conquest V4 3-12x56 Riflescope with Z-Plex Reticle and the rifle is bedded in a custom stock.
The trigger is custom and breaks like glass at 12 ounces.

My brother developed a special FBI St. Louis load for me as well

I do not need more than 38 special or +P as I hit the skull 100% of the time
