If the UHI was fully realized in the temperature data the warming rate would be at least 50 to 75% LOWER, that is due to badly sited temperature stations collecting in anomalous areas such is big cities, here is a video presentation that explains it well.

I wasn't nitpicking you. I believe it's important that people understand that even when both hemispheres were cooling, which was driven by the northern hemisphere, the sun was shining just the same as when the oceans were warming after the glacial period ended.
