More fallacies.. why do you leave out my content that explains my stanceI’m debating wether people who hate America, people that pay no taxes, ppl that can’t serve on the front lines, should have a say who the next president isI do believe you may have gone to inner city schools.......grew up? No sign of that from this thread.I went to inner city schools and grew up.. it sucks, they destroyed many urban areasIf you poll 10 hatians if they like America and 9 out of ten says they want to burn it down then yes we have a issue. And that’s what I’m hearing in the community. What should we do if these refugees are saying these things??I don’t consider anti Americans citizens , growing up with Hatians and latinos they all said fcuk America, give them a test with some interesting questions if they pass they can voteTax payers shouldn’t vote?woman actually voted against the right to vote lolEasyContribute to America pay a poll tax,, if your not working, you can achieve the right to vote if you work hardWell that’s not how it used to be and America was greatThere should be no restrictions to gun ownership in America.. as far as voting you should not vote if you’re not paying taxes, except for some jobs, like military. Woman shouldn’t be allowed to vote because they can’t fight in war like men can, and they vote with emotion not logic, and there should be a test to vote to keep minorities from voting. They don’t like America anywayIn general I think that once someone has served their time, they should be fully re-enfranchised- both with the vote and their right to own guns.
Except- in my opinion- those who have committed a crime with a gun, or other weapon.
I am curious to see where Republicans go with this- so far generally like in Florida- Republicans are doing what they can to prevent ex-cons from voting. Will they have the same reluctance with firearms?
Jeez, you want to restrict it to all white males voting, but have absolutely no restrictions on gun ownership? What a surprise.
No. Any American citizen over the age of 18 (with very few exceptions) can vote. Limiting that is anti-American.
Limiting the voices of Americans is not the way to go.
The fact that it used to be that only landowners could vote was not what made America great. You are guilty of a causal fallacy.
First you will have to get enough votes to amend the US Constitution. The 24th amendment specifically outlawed poll taxes.
Women make up 51% of the population. They could stop it. Add minorities in and it would be a slam-dunk to fail.
How about we make it so that only honorably discharged veterans can vote? If you don't want to serve in the military, some sort of Peace Corp like service. Earn your right to vote.
Women and minorities pay taxes, and you want to take away their vote.
I specifically mentioned citizens. Haitians and latinoes who have become citizens have to have a test to vote? But white Americans don't? I've know too many white Americans who are dumb as dirt.I don’t consider anti Americans citizens , growing up with Hatians and latinos they all said fcuk America, give them a test with some interesting questions if they pass they can voteTax payers shouldn’t vote?woman actually voted against the right to vote lolEasyContribute to America pay a poll tax,, if your not working, you can achieve the right to vote if you work hardWell that’s not how it used to be and America was greatThere should be no restrictions to gun ownership in America.. as far as voting you should not vote if you’re not paying taxes, except for some jobs, like military. And women? YOu want to take away their vote even though they pay taxes.
An honorable discharge or some sort of approved volunteer work for 3 years. Sounds like a good way to earn your vote.
Does anyone believe that Jitler actually talks with any Haitians or anyone else with a shade of skin darker than Conan O'Brian?
Just a reminder- you are hear whining about your 'rights' being denied- while you openly advocate denying the Constitutional rights of most Americans.
You really are a Trump supporter- I doubt you have ever voted.
If they are American citizens, then the answer is yes, they should have a vote.
The only people you have mentioned that hate America are refugees, not citizens. If someone pays no taxes they are either very poor or they are wealthy and found a bunch of loopholes. As for the front lines as opposed to behind the lines, until you have at least served (anywhere) you have no right to condemn them. Men AND women have died in every war in the 20th and 21st century. Those women you condemn have shown more courage than you have. Look at the Angels of Bataan. Army nurses forced to march is the worst conditions, and they still not only survived but cared for others while doing it. You have a lot of gall acting like their service is less than anyone else's. Especially since you never served at all. And women have turned out in greater numbers than men in the recent presidential elections.
YOu claim to support the US Constitution.
But you excuse, and even defend, denying people their 6th amendment rights.
YOu want to take away the vote from women.
You want to have a test for any minorities in order for them to vote. But say nothing about that same test for whites.
You have said you want to override the votes of the people of Boston (and Massachusetts) and remove the people that they elected, thereby negating their vote.
What you want is a shortcut to getting your way. Nothing more. It is a despicable display of unconstitutional actions (even if you only wish it) in order to change America into something else.
Oh, and just to educate you a bit on logical fallacies. Leaving out your opinion is not a fallacy. It is up to you to voice that. I am not obligated to do so.
