I specifically mentioned citizens. Haitians and latinoes who have become citizens have to have a test to vote? But white Americans don't? I've know too many white Americans who are dumb as dirt.

And yes, we CAN amend the US Constitution. But it is not easily done. Nor should it be. The US Constitution is the basis and bedrock of our great nation. Changing it requires more than just a majority in a local vote.

First off, who should get to vote? Early in this country's history only free white landowners were allowed the privilege of voting. The reason was, only whites could become citizens AND the people who founded our Republic believed that if you were a taxpaying landowner you had some skin in the game (something to lose) and, consequently, as heads of the house and having something to lose, they should be the ones who had a privilege to vote. This probably makes sense, even in today's world, if widows who continued to work the land after their husband's death could cast their late husband's vote.
Why should people who do not own land or businesses be able to reach into the pockets of landowners and business to tell them how to spend the money they earned? Why should an apartment dweller be able to reach into the hands of a homeowner and have the homeowner held responsible for educating the apartment dweller's children? So, how do you feel about that kind of America?

In a urban city and saw wht todays immigration has done and have talked about it many times. Education, jobs, I’ll give you an example if I was a drunk in 1890-1950, just pre Latinos, I could grab a job as a dishwasher somewhere, get my shit together rejoin society,, today the wages and other factors keep the down and out on the streets.. I see thousands of meth heads walking the streets, with out the options of taking these jobs to sober up, immigration has destroyed our urban areas.
