Sooo, now the question becomes whether the NaziCon base will support Jeb in the GOP Primary? Jeb could possibly win the General Election - but I'm less sure he can win the GOP Primary. Yes, he could win the general, but it is very unlikely that he will get the nomination. I can see the other GOP hopefuls using Jeb's own words to slam in in the debates.

He wouldn't be able to win the general election either. Whether it's fair or not - people will discriminate against him because of his last name...his father wasn't a particularly good president and his brother was a disaster. I personally think it is fair to discriminate against him because he's a Bush.. This is America, we're not supposed to do nepotism. Anyway liberals like to say he's a formidable GE candidate because they know he's a weak candidate. It's a pointless academic exercise because he won't be the nominee. If he is - I'm voting for Hilary.

I agree whole heatedly with your point about nepotism. I fond it rather ironic though that you see the Bush line as clearly falling under this guise yet do not see the exact same situation with Clinton. It is the same story.

That's a good point. I personally don't want another Clinton either. The reality is though - the Bush name has more baggage...Bill Clinton was at least a popular president. Personally on the principle of nepotism - I wouldn't want either candidate, but if the choice were to be Clinton or Bush - I would choose Clinton.
