As much as I'd like to blame this on the dumocraps, or the government, the decay in America is really We The People's fault. This is what happens when a population stops giving a shit and says just let the government do it. Then they don't even hold the government accountable. Now we have lost control of our government and it no longer has to do the will of the people. The only thing holding us back from becoming a fifth world shithole is a small percentage of Americans who still give a shit and want to keep the dumocraps from finally getting enough power to make that happen.

Back in those days, unions were strong, workers had some rights, pensions, were loyal; cared about a quality job because they planned to be working for the same company 5-15 years later. Towns had good tax bases so you had good schools, roads, etc..
