Responsible SNAP Budget

Funny how you always user babies and toddlers with the implication they need less food.

You know that toddlers grow into school ages children and teenagers right?

Ya - two pounds of hamburger for an adult and 2 teenagers over 8 meals.

That's live'n high I tell you.

Then the SNAP program should take into account ages of the children. Why does Mama get an extra $200 a month as soon as she pushes out illegitimate baby #5 - who is nursing and doesn’t require any food products? And the toddler who eats five bites of hamburger and a quarter peach?

The people making out like highway robbery are the mothers with two and three pre-school kids. That’s why they are able to shop at upscale grocery stores even I can’t afford.

Also, every time the Mommy Machine pops out another one she can’t afford, her allotment increases by $200 per month. Even if she’s breastfeeding and pays nothing for baby’s food. So, she has $200 more to spread among her existing toddlers, who are already getting $200 each.

Believe me, many of these mothers have money left over on their EBT card and just buy….whatever….to use it up.
One wonders if you criticize the Hasidim who use SNAP so heavily and have those really large families

Oh wait. You don’t. Why??

Ye protest too much!

And your perspective is very distorted, unbalanced... you seem to have a mental disorder on this topic... what happened to you, to cause you to think the way you do...that every one on food stamps, or even the majority, or even a sizable minority, .... is living the high life because they are plopping out babies purposely, for that good life food stamp? Or eating filet mignon every day with the money?

The federal government only offers food stamps to citizens that make up to 130% of the poverty level...States that offer food stamps , SNAP, over the 130% of poverty... like my state offers it to citizens that make up to 200% of the poverty level, PAY FOR that with their own State taxes.

NOTE!
The up to 30% over the poverty level that can qualify federally, make up to $9.75 cents an hour for a 40 hour work week, or make less.

I never said everyone. But millions are abusing the system, with multiple kids and no fathers pitching in.

We have to change that. There is no excuse for a father to be earning a middle-class salary while taxpayers pay out food stamps to the mother. And THAT is how they’re getting away with it - the fathers shirk any responsibility, and the mothers are fine with that because they’ll get more than they need on SNAP.

Have you ever heard the story of the grasshopper and the ant?

Elderly losers have spent a lifetime making bad personal decisions
I'll give you a personal example. I bought a house and contributed the maximum to my 401K and had to cut my spending for fifteen years to pay for it. One of my co-workers insisted on living in apartments and not contributing to the 401K plan despite my pointing out all the advantages of owning. He preferred to spend his money on collecting expensive guitars and having an expensive car to commute in. We're the same age, I retired ten years ago with no bills a fixed benefit pension plan, the 401K and SS. He just retired with just the fixed benefit pension and SS AND has to pay rent in So Cal until the day he dies. My sacrifices and planning made my retirement very comfortable while he just scrapes by.

We lived on far less when I was a kid. There were a lot of months when the money ran out a week before the end of the month, and we lived on Kraft Mac and Cheese and fish sticks. To this day, I hate fish sticks. Despite that, my grandmother never took a dime from the government despite having two mouths to feed. We were poor, but we had our pride.

You use the hamburger for flavor, the majority of the meal is rice, pasta or beans. Meat stretches a long way when you use it for flavor instead of the primary component of the meal. I still have arguments about that with my wife. I want to make beef stew with lots of veggies but little meat, she wants lots of meat and few veggies. I make it her way to keep the peace.
Oh and poor people shouldn't be "liv'n high" on other people's money, just surviving makes for incentive to get better jobs and earn more.

Whew. You won’t be getting any child support demands then from any Baby Mamas!
I never had any baby mamas, I was always monogamous and used birth control before I was married. I supported my daughter after my wife divorced me AND supported my step-daughter when I met my current, second and last wife in 1984. For eighteen years I supported my daughter and for ten of those I supported two daughters. I meet my responsibilities.

Why can't they eat steak and lobster? You ain't paying anything. If someody walked up to you and handed you two cents then proceeded to tell you what you can eat because they're paying for yur food, you'd slap them. We all pay taxes, and what you pay for SNAP isn't even a penny. You woud be best served to go tell Hegseth to stop wasting your money.

Lisa has a lot to say about some people, but what she needs to do is go to the psychiatroist and do something about her mental disorder.
I know you feel that way, you made a career supporting irresponsible people like that. Every dime they get from the government is someone else's money. But you have always stated that the government had a money tree instead of having to take every penny it has from taxpayers. You made that attitude very clear in the many threads you started on the old racism forum about reparations. You claimed that the government could pull trillions of dollars out of thin air without hurting the taxpayers or the economy. For someone claiming to have a college education and having been the CEO of multiple NGOs youo are an economic illiterate.

And now he’s crying his little heart because you dont want to give him any of your money

Getting a basic education in logic and training in how to make things with tools.

Then get a more refined education in their chosen vocation and avoid generational debt to pay for it? Or how about teaching them to manage their own finances and pick vocations that pay well with some education and a lot of apprenticeship?
White-Collar Walk-Ons

Those who have Daddy financing all that have the power to make "uppity" class-climbers get ahead on a ladder of thorns.

Sacrifice has no merit; it is nothing but brown-nosing. People who put up with Affluenzist Affirmative Action don't get their own positions through merit, either.

Americans shouldn't be forced to choose unpaid education and unpaid skills-training any more than they can choose to be on a college football team. They have to be chosen and paid what the Preppies get: a healthy allowance and paid-up tuition. Replace the RichKid Reich's Eweniversity with highly paid professional training.

But apparently not much food

They did fine - they grew up with a sense of responsibility and the concept that being self-supporting is important rather than the idea that other people have to provide you with food.

My grandparents raised my parents (and their siblings) during the Great Depression - and they never took a penny of Relief. They didn’t want to take charity and valued taking care of one’s own family.
