i vote with no cause, absentee every election..... and wouldn't want it any other way... I love getting the ballot and going through each candidate..... and going through any referendum questions.... it takes me 2 to 4 weeks going through them all.... before I cast my vote!

And even when I worked, IT WAS A TIME SAVER, to vote by mail.... not having to know whether I'd be in town or miss some meeting because I was standing in line to vote.... was less stressful!

CBS did a voting by mail experiment and some 90% of the ballots were lost or misplaced. And that was with a fake balloting. Worse still, after investigations found some ballots,as this was done in California where the party affiliation is marked on the envelope, the conservative/republican ballots were lost or destroyed almost entirely and only democrat ballots were found.

This means that the people handling them were acting as judges in the election and discarding or destroying the ballots.

Mail in has serious problems because of the number of people who handle the ballots.

fund the post offices so they have more workers during this period, and fund setting up Ballot Drop off boxes in neighborhoods or drive thru drop boxes.... so the post office will not be overwhelmed.... the 6 states that ONLY have mail in voting have worked out the kinks, over the years.... look at their measures.... hire more election vote counters for absentee voter increases....
