Republicans Seem To Lose On Every Issue Placed Under Scrutiny, Yet They Still Get Elected. Why?

Just passing the Immigration bill would balance the budget....RW hate/racism/idiocy. Functional brainwashed stupidity. see sig last line.
just RW's Frankie?.....you do realize, well maybe you dont....that there are LOTS of your fellow Lefties out here who are also against any kind of amnesty and generally are not too favorable towards the illegals....Mexicans born here are some pretty harsh critics....

They've lost on the issue of wealth inequality.

They've lost on the issue of human caused climate change

They've lost on the issue of voter fraud.

They've lost on the issue of the effectiveness of tax cuts for the wealthy and trickle down economics as a whole.

They've lost on the issue of gay marriage

Last but not least, congressional republicans have the worst approval ratings behind not only Obama, but congressional democrats as well.

The thought of them taking the senate is not only awful, it is downright bewildering. You want the truth? Average joe Americans are idiots.

See, this is an example of the progressive departure from reality.

They haven't lost. You think they should have...but see, your world view is skewed, irrational, and not to be trusted. The truth of the matter is that they haven't lost at all. You have lost, you are continuing to lose..and you poor pathetic thing, you can't comprehend of it.

Prepare to be really confused for the rest of your life. This is only the beginning.

What "reality" are you talking about. Give us some examples.
And can't comprehend "what"?

Hilarious. Open that tab and then open this tab:

Congress Republicans

Now switch back and forth between the two tabs. You'll die laughing.

Even Fox fucking news gives Republicans lower polls.

Thanks for providing us with that info.

so are you proud of that 11% difference?........you and every American should be ashamed of the incompetent assholes that you re-elect every time..... but yet come Nov you people will elect those same fuckers all over again......

Gerrymandering only accounts for a handful of seat at any given time. The problem isn't that the GOP does it so much as it is that the democrats do it sooooo badly. Every time they build a super safe urban seat, they are basically surrendering the suburbs and rural areas to the GOP. Most counties in the US trend red. If the dems are getting 75% of the vote in urban areas, then they should redraw their maps to get 55% and try to adjust that 20% overperformance into swingier districts.

Yeah, the Democrats are so clumsy at gerrymandering.

Most counties in the US trend red? Why? People like being screwed over?

Even here on the USMB Republicans can't name a single one of their policies in the last 20 years that was either successful, helped the country or both.

At the same time, you can list many Democratic policies that helped the US. From health care, to student loans to fair pay and so on.

If you look at the issues that most concern Americans and their thoughts on them, the majority of Americans align with what Democrats want to do...Something like 70% of Americans disapprove of Republicans in Congress and, yet as you mentioned, they will get re-elected. The "Why" is in the Gerrymandering...
Yep you're right. Polls show dems favor what many people want. The problem is they vote for repubs anyway
Clinton Fluffers claimed most people supported the Democrat scheme to ban guns. a few months later the Dems took it up their ass in the 1994 elections. apparently, the low wattage sheep who wanted gun bans weren't as motivated to vote as the intellectually superior patriots who despise the Democrat JIhad against our constitutional rights

republican policies are why whining liberals are prosperous enough to have computers to whine on.
most of the problems in this country come from dem policies=from slavery to the expansion of the commerce clause which has a caused the idiotic war on drugs

and yet they grab a 30% approval rating.....are you proud of that 30% Dean?....

So state legislatures manage to gerrymander majorities out of 30% approval ratings?
How stupid are you again?

The Gerrymandering took place 4 years ago. You do know when census are taken, right?

The Gerrymandering took place at the same time as the Census? Please tell us how that works.

Clearly they have not lost on every issue that matters most to the American people or they would not be getting elected. Perhaps the reason Republicans keep getting elected is because of the failures of Democrat policies and leadership.
And yet you can't give any examples of republicans helping anyone besides the wealthy class.

Like I said, they get elected because Americans are dumb. They would rather buy into the abysmal Fox News propaganda and listen to flowery speeches about freedom and warm apple pie that mean nothing.

I've got some examples:

Bush and the GOP Legislature created the 10% tax bracket. That was huge for the working class.

Bush and the GOP Legislature greatly expanded the GI Bill. Another win for the working class.

Bush's Medicare drug benefit certainly helped the working class in retirement. It's even included in many zero premium and Part B rebate plans now.

Middle class entrepreneurs (think landscapers and maids) benefitted greatly by having capital gains taxes reduced.

Allowing for immediate expense of technology and vehicle purchases (instead of amortization) was huge for the working and middle class (and good for the people that worked for companies making vehicles and technology).

Let's also not forget the average net worth of people that retired between 2001 and 2008.

No Republican on the USMB can name a single GOP policy they are proud of. Talking points like "make better" and "do good" are all they have. Point that out and they swarm you like locusts screaming "liar" and "retard". What else do they have?

It's both pathetic and quite sad.

I'm a former Republican I'm damn proud of the PEPFAR program that saved 740,000 lives in Africa. The GOP has always taken AIDS seriously when they can actually do something about it.

I'm proud of the Republican answer to terrorism, it's a military threat. The current President agrees, in direct opposition to the days of the Gorelick Wall and sending the FBI to read them their rights.

I'm proud of the GOP stance on school choice. In some districts it has forced the government monopoly to compete and in other districts it has even changed the entire narrative for education. Vouchers even have broad support in minority districts.

It's so funny to see Democrats bitch about Gerrymandering when they are the ones that codified it in the first place!

"Minority majority districts" are an artificial construct. Republicans are being accused of benefiting from that structure and yet Democrats are the ones constantly fighting any effort to get rid of them.

School vouchers
Terrorism is a military threat
10% tax bracket
Immediate expense of technology and vehicles (subject to limits) for the self-employed
