Granted, Trump’s win in 2016 was surprising. Unfortunately, it was also a fluke because he is only 1 of 5 presidents in history to lose the popular vote. Republicans like to pretend how useless the popular vote is, but considering the large majority of winning candidates have won the popular vote, it’s arbitrary to just decide it doesn’t matter simply because Trump lost it. It matters of course because it represents the will of the people even if it doesn’t decide actual election.

In truth, the 2016 polls really weren’t flawed. They were in line with history for the most part. The only polls that were truly misleading were the three swing state polls that showed Hillary was ahead when she actually wasn’t.

Now where are we? Biden is leading in virtually every national poll and is ahead in ALL of the major battleground states. I mean if Trump wins (I don’t rule it out completely), it will just be another fluke. A fluke that likely isn’t going to repeat itself.
This is all republican voters are betting on.

It is not even much of a secret, as they have good reason to worry.
Nervous Republicans See Trump Sinking, and Taking Senate With Him

Top Republicans are reportedly getting very worried about Trump's re-election odds

GOP Worries Trump Is Tanking His Re-Election

I think the secret is out.

Very true, but I meant to specify republican voters. Their entire logic was that the polls were off in 2016 therefore Trump will win again. No other evidence is apparently needed.

This type of arrogance is what turns off the undecided's that actually decide elections. This type of arrogance is what turns your own party against itself.

Don't believe me, what do you have to say about Bernie Bros?

This type of arrogance chastises Trumps mismanagement federally, while ignoring the reality that all he could have really done more was illegally shut down interstate travel. You do this while saying nothing about Cuomo in NY. A piece of shit that literally sent people to such a certain breeding ground in at risk populations, he didnt send just one body bag per patient back to LTC facilities, but multiole body bags. Almost simultaneously legislating the owners and execs of said facilities outside of accoutnability from what was to follow.

You better pray cooler heads prevail. If you idiots turn the other half of the country against you with your divisive rhetoric, its going to be a prison state for everyone. At least Trumpers dont keep licking the same multi decade career's soles. Yet you gloat around like supporting Biden is anything but supporting the now dementia addled proponent of 3 strikes, mandatory minimums and the overall expansion of the police state like it says anything but you're an ignorant raving lunatic, too blinded by hatred to see what shoukd be plain as day.

Men like Joe Biden aren't part of the problem, they literally are the problem. Trump was that message. Not because he actually had any decent qualities, but simply because he isnt a career pol.

The DNC is so terrified of this reality they ran Andrew Yang off the campaign trail, only to see his ideas literally be a foreshadowing of necessity to come. Not because of the onset of future economic reality, but because of pandemic.

We need a redo. Surely these mush brained memes of the two parties (unchecked govt abuse for familial enrichment and the fattening of wall st) cannot be our choices? This is a joke, right? Biden looks like his brain decided to die 3 months ago, and I'm not sure Trump ever had one to begin with.

The majority of democrats don't like Biden. Mix in covid, and they are going to have a hell of a turn out problem.

Oh.., Right.., the lemmings that keep running even though they see the cliff, is who you refer to?
He is just a tool or weapon to them. They do not care about the country, only keeping their weapon.

Just listen to Biden yourself, one of his recent gaffes he literally claims "and I'm gonna defeat Joe Biden." Lmao! Though its kind of pathetic just how true it really is.
How do you people just ignore the retarded things Trump says on a daily basis?

I can't. I have said since his election, he needs to get off twitter. Remove the constant bloviating and occasional war declaration from social media and some of the shit he's done you could say is setting up us pretty well to transition to the new economy. Oil independance. Actual net exporter of oil, iirc. This cannot be understated.

Since the 70s, oil and solar have had a chaotic cyclical relationship. Oil prices climb to an economic pain threshold, investment is made in alternative energy, which triggers a slow price slide until eventually some breakthrough, or steady adoption triggers a price crash that leaves nascent renewable tech unable to compete.

In the last few years, renewable tech has reached the point where they now dictate the floor. Couple that with wrestling domestic supply price control away from the middle east, and its a huge societal win, whether Cheeto Jesus understands what he did or not (firmly believe hes clueless what a solid this is to renewables).

Frankly, if he manages to steer that 2T manufacturing bill hes babbled about towards broad citizen owned solar installations (grants for existing homeowners, free install w/ homeowners insurance issuance or w/e) with massive investment into affordable metal 3d printing techs, he sets up the US to lead the technological revolution about to unfold, rather than be completely torn apart by it.

Joe will sell it all to the DC purse thrower that offers whichever family member who gets "called on down" for the next round of rackets.

I'm less worried now, than I was before. I'll be shocked if Trump does not win, given how insane the left-wing has been. Not to mention that Biden is the only shot the Democrats have, and he's.... sadly... losing it.

How can you say something like that without any data to support your point whatsoever?

Its pathetic. It was pathetic when Ted Cruz and the "Low T" Bush were evicerated by Trump on the campaign trail, but what he is going to do to Biden is not going to be good. I would not be surprised to see him go so over board Biden gets elected on a sympathy vote. Have you seen how wound up Joe gets when his son is brought up? Cheeto Jesus is going to play with him like a cat plays with a wounded rodent.

The Democratic nominee just informed us that the number of U.S. coronavirus deaths is greater than the population of the country I don't think Republicans are the ones who should be worrying.
For real? You have a link? Where did he say this? Lmao!

That sounds like some complete bullshit. Link?

Biden reminds me of someone that has suffered a stoke.
Some days he can't remember his name.
Other days he seems half way normal. ...
Say bub, what's a "stoke?"
