There should never have been ACA subsidies. Unconstitutional and unsustainable. No republicans voted for the ACA and it was all Democrats that voted to have the subsidies expire this year after the ACA had destroyed the existing healthcare systems. If the Democrats wanted to continue the irresponsible policies that have driven insurance premiums through the roof, they should have run a more appealing candidate last year.

Hooray that the GOP has developed at least something of a backbone and actually puts their vote as well as rhetoric to achieve some fiscal responsibility.

Newsflash: government subsidies do not lower costs. They almost always greatly increase costs. Forcing me to pay for your insurance does not make the insurance cheaper.
