Child porn found on phone of Pennsylvania state Sen. Mike Folmer, prosecutor says

YORK, Pa. – A Pennsylvania state senator has been charged with possession of child pornography, according to the state attorney general’s office.


Republican state Sen. Mike Folmer, 63, represents parts of Lebanon, Dauphin and York counties.


According to a release from Attorney General Josh Shapiro's office, Folmer was arrested Tuesday night after images of child pornography were found on his phone when police searched his home after obtaining a warrant.


The investigation began after a tip reported that an individual had uploaded an image of child pornography to the social networking website Tumblr.

I did some looking one day for another thread. Democrats proudly held the lead in sex scandals of the last 30 years. But it wasn't a runaway lead, I must admit.

But that was merely sex scandals and that's not the same as pedophiles, I know. It probably tracks fairly closely though.

This isn't a political problem no matter how many accusations fly or how we crunch the numbers. It's a problem that exists far too much in too many places in this country and we should be doing more to put a stop to this shit and less time pointing fingers at the other party.

I did some looking one day for another thread. Democrats proudly held the lead in sex scandals of the last 30 years. But it wasn't a runaway lead, I must admit.

I did some looking one day for another thread. Democrats proudly held the lead in sex scandals of the last 30 years. But it wasn't a runaway lead, I must admit.

But that was merely sex scandals and that's not the same as pedophiles, I know. It probably tracks fairly closely though.

This isn't a political problem no matter how many accusations fly or how we crunch the numbers. It's a problem that exists far too much in too many places in this country and we should be doing more to put a stop to this shit and less time pointing fingers at the other party.
