Democrats running for elected office from rural America are starting to depart from using party identification in their campaign ads.

Rural America doesn't want them. It's only logical they try to distance themselves from the party.

There are quite a few rural Dems in the deep south. Counties bordering the Mississippi River, in Arkansas, Louisiana, and Mississippi are packed with the remnants of poor share croppers. They vote Dem almost exclusively. They are as country as it gets.
