On a side note, rents are up by huge double-digits in a number of other cities - where the jobs are - so as Vegas becomes unaffordable, there are few other options.My crappy apartment ( with the bad carpet job ) was $1200-1300 a month back when I moved here in 2017 .

And you want to bust into their home to check on that, right?Local governments. A 2BR apartment or 3BR house is for a singular family or a couple of adults sharing expenses. Not for 5 or 6 non related adults often with kids.
