Why should anyone spend more money on an electric vehicle, solar panels and a 2nd level charging station for a car that only goes 200 miles before it needs 8 hours to fully charge? Also the on-the-road charging stations are scarce. All for some 'pie in the sky' 'save the planet' bullshit ginned up by loony greenies and a brain-dead POTUS. Also, those solar panels aren't free. You will have to pay thousands for panels, inverter, level 2 charging station and maybe even storage batteries. Solar panels will eventually need replacing as their output falls about .08% per year. They will also require a yearly maintenance check. One of the most important things is to keep them free of dirt and debris as well.
