What is redemption? An arbitrary goal one knows, beyond a shadow of a doubt, in the privacy of their own hearts, whether or not they have achieved.

What does redemption do? Depends on who is answering the question - some need it more than others.

Why is redemption important? I can't say for you... for me I suppose it isn't all that important... Once I quit trying to impress a God in my life with the way I was living my life, I took responsibility for my own 'redemption' and found the same personal peace in my heart as when I thought my 'redemption' was the responsibility of a Jew named Jesus and my responsibility was to live up to His ideals.
