Two recent decisions by boards recommending when to have checkups are 2 examples of REAL scare tactics in this year of Socialized medicine.
Just a month or so ago a recommendation was made to not do prostate screens like we currently do delaying it for some time. Now this month we have the recommendation to not do Mammograms until 50. 10 YEARS after the current recommendation that has been in force for YEARS. Further it recommends no one be taught self examines at all.
Isn't it convenient for a Government looking to cut health care costs to have these decisions this year?
And no this is not a thread for the medical forum, it belongs right here in politics because these decisions are POLITICAL.
