For instance, Reagan's former home in Pacific Palisades, CA is currently for sale. The asking price is $5 million. You want the tax payers to buy it too?

Calling Chicago his childhood home is a bit of a stretch. I lived in The Hague in the Netherlands for a couple of years from the age of one until about the age of three. I certainly would not refer to The Hague as my childhood home. If the home we were talking about was the home in Dixon where he actually grew up, then this would be worth a discussion.
